Ok, this has to be the easiest homemade kite ever invented! My children came up with this today seeing as it's VERY WINDY outside. A real kite would be torn to shreds. Yes, this is just a plastic grocery bag tied to a string on a stick. :) It's occupied them for hours already!

Really, why haven't I ever thought of that?
I've been looking through the Montessori albums that you posted (THANK YOU!) and I have to say that the lesson plans and activities are amazing! I've been reading the geography album, part 1, and making notes of the activities and lessons that I want to schedule in the near future.
Such a great resource!!
